I have no idea of the exact date of these drawings, it is more like a study of expressions of a comic (or manga) character than a finished work.
The character here is Béryl de Vilys, in its older version as seen in Confrontation, which served as reference. The date must be close of this one. I have since then dropped the "big, shôjo eyes", because I feel it doesn't fit my style (I still do it for drawings of chibi characters). I should redo (and expand) this study in my current style.
I drew 12 identical faces, then I made a copy, with the intend to make much more studies. But I stopped at 24...

Je n'ai pas d'idée sur la date exacte de ces dessins, c'est plus une étude d'expressions d'un personnage de BD (ou manga) qu'un travail fini.
Le personnage ici est Béryl de Vilys, dans sa version ancienne que vous pouvez voir dans Confrontation, qui m'a d'ailleurs servi de référence. La date doit être proche de celui-ci. Depuis, j'ai arrêté de faire des "yeux immenses, shôjo", parce que je sens que cela ne convient pas à mon style (je pratique encore un peu pour les chibi). Je devrais le refaire (et l'étendre) dans mon style actuel.
J'ai dessiné 12 faces identiques, puis j'ai fait une copie, avec l'intention de faire bien plus d'études. Mais j'ai arrêté à 24...

xD Practicing facialexpressions is the best way to become a pro! ^.^

So really good sketch here!

Maybe try to "overdo" it a little more with the expressions >:3 (Means, make them stronger then it would be in reality) Thats a typical manga/comic-style and gives a sketch more depth.

Good idea. I think I will do a remake, I will then mix "normal" expressions and exaggerated ones.
